Worthy Brothers,
It is with great sadness that I report the deaths of 2 of our brother Knights.
Robert Gerhardt, Past Grand Knight of Council #1266 and member of the Color Corp for Assembly #488, left this world to be with our Lord on August 17, 2026, at the age of 76. Visitation will be at St. John the Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 2 starting at 9:30 AM followed by mass at 10:30 AM. Assembly #488 Color Corp will be present for the funeral in his honor.
James Wiseman, Sr, member of Council #1266 and Assembly #488 Color Corp also went to be with our Lord on August 23, 2026, at the age of 84. Visitation will be at Bacarella Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 2 from noon until 3:30 PM. The Knights of Columbus will recite a litany / rosary at 1:30 followed by the Assembly Chalice presentation. Assembly #488 Color Corp will be present in his honor. Deacon Mike Stewart will then lead a memorial service at 3:30 PM.

The lounge staff would like to invite all of you to enjoy a delicious lunch in the lounge this Thursday, tomorrow, August 27, from 11:30 am till 1 pm. This week lunch includes, my favorite, smashburgers, fries, slaw and dessert for just $9. Come one - come all!
The next lounge luncheon will be on September 3rd serving pork chops, mashed potatoes and veggies.
